Happy birthday Sir David Attenborough

This week we have been celebrating Sir David Attenborough.  We have learnt some fascinating facts, including his allergy to donkeys!  We have taken inspiration from his example and found ways to enjoy and learn more about nature.  As part of our Forest School activities, we have put plants in a muddy undeveloped area, and we hope that the insects will find them and enjoy it whilst also giving us opportunities to learn more about them.

Sir David Attenborough said: We only know a tiny proportion about the complexity of the natural world. Wherever you look, there are still things we don't know about and don't understand.  There are always new things to find out if you go looking for them.
